This week began on a humorous note with the appearance of Justin Halpern, author of Sh*t My Dad Says on Monday's Early Show. Good Morning America interviewed Ken Follett, author of The Pillars of the Earth thanks to the new miniseries on Starz, and Bob Greene, author of The Best Life Guide to Managing Diabetes and Pre-Diabetes was on Monday's Oprah.

Tuesday, Good Morning America included Daphne Oz, author of The Dorm Room Diet. Colman Andrews, author of The Country Cooking of Ireland and Daniel Silva, author of The Rembrandt Affair were on The Today Show, and Bryan Batt, author of She Ain't Heavy, She's My Mother was on The View.

Wednesday's Good Morning America included an interview with Jane Green, author of Promises to Keep. The Today Show featured author Jen Lancaster, author of My Fair Lazy. Tonya Reiman, author of The Yes Factor: Get What You Want. Say What You Mean was on the O'Reilly Factor. Chelsea Handler, author of Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang visited The Tonight Show, and Tavis Smiley spoke with Alice Walker about her most recent book The World Has Changed.

Lucy Baker, author of The Boozy Baker made an appearance on Thursday's Today Show, and Oprah spoke with Jenny Sanford, author of Staying True.

Susie Essman, author of What Would Susie Say? is scheduled to appear on Friday's The View, and Rachael Ray is scheduled to include Karen Tack, co-author of Hello, Cupcake!

Tuesday's Morning Edition included a segment with William Powers, author of Hamlet's Blackberry. Talk of the Nation included an interview with Dan Clowes, author of Wilson, and Alan Cheuse reviewed Kevin Canty's Everything on All Things Considered.

Wednesday, The Diane Rehm Show interviewed Dana Priest, author of The Mission: Waging War and Keeping Peace with America's Military. Laura Lorson endorsed The Enormous Egg by Oliver Butterworth and The Twenty-One Balloons by William Pene duBois on All Things Considered. She also recommended the Jeeves and Wooster series by P.G. Wodehouse. One book in the series is The Code of the Woosters. Maureen Corrigan reviewed The Cookbook Collector by Allegra Goodman on Fresh Air, and Alison Weir author of Captive Queen: A Novel of Eleanor of Aquitaine was part of Wednesday's Talk of The Nation.
